Erica King M.ED, LPC

Erica has a Master's in Education & Clinical Counseling from Springfield College, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated with honors in both Counseling and Education. Her practice centers around Person-Centered Care, Realistic Therapy, Motivational interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Modalities. They also focus on areas such as Self-love, Life transitions, Suicidal ideation/crisis, and Domestic violence.
Erica brings extensive experience in working with children ages 11+, addressing racial issues, managing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. Having worked as a Mobile Crisis Clinician in Connecticut and Massachusetts, She is skilled in de-escalation and crisis intervention. Erica is also certified in DBT Therapy.
During your sessions, Erica may integrate DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution based therapy, CBT, and Person-Centered Therapy to offer comprehensive support.
Currently, She is advancing her expertise by pursuing a Doctorate in Counseling and seeking additional Clinical Certifications in different areas such as Sex Therapy, Immigration Evaluations and Internal family systems.

Rhaema has a Master's in Education from Fordham University and is an Associate Licensed Clinician. Previously, Rhaema worked for over a decade as an accountant.
She specializes in person-centered care and often utilizes CBT and DBT skills to assist clients in managing their depressive and anxious thoughts and emotions. Rhaema utilizes a non-judgmental and gentle approach to create a space that encourages clients to bring their true selves and deepest wounds in the therapeutic space.
Rhaema has a passion for working with women and clients struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal ideations. She engages clients with warmth and humor to connect and establish a therapeutic relationship.

Julia Scarpellino, MA, LPC
Clinical Program Supervisor

Julia received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, her Master’s degree in Community Psychology and Forensic Psychology from the University of New Haven in 2016 and LPC in the State of CT in 2019.
Julia has passion for working with youth, young adults, and families. Her experience in the field has been around re-entry work, assisting families and young adults with familial reunification and integration into the community from foster care. She currently works full time as a Regional Manager at Youth Villages and per diem as a Clinical Supervisor for Urban Light Therapy. Her past and current experience includes working with depression, anxiety, suicidal and self-harming behaviors, physical aggression and similar behaviors, delinquency, and family conflict. Julia specializes in CBT and TF-CBT techniques and has experience in treating substance use. Julia hopes she can assist those in her immediate community build skills to navigate life's challenges through providing therapy at Urban Light.
Julia enjoys getting outdoors golfing and playing softball in her free time. She recently got married in the Summer of 2023.

Dellmisel received her Bachler’s in Forensic Psychology in 2020 and her master’s in clinical Mental Health- Trauma Informed Counseling in 2022 from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, MA. Dellmisel is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish. Dellmisel works as a school-based therapist and is a part-time at Urban Light Therapy.

Dellmisel enjoys working with adolescents and adults using various modalities. She looks at the person as a whole and works to assist them in healing from the inside out. Dellmisel empowers the client by giving them a safe place to explore their feelings and thoughts. Dellmisel has experience working with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.
Dellmisel looks forward to being part of your journey and helping you realize that your past does not have to dictate your future; and assisting you in finding your true self. Her hope is to give back to her community and to bring about healing and restoration.
